It's no secret I love country weddings. The thing is I have a thing for city weddings too. So when April told me they were getting married out in the country and having the reception at the Fort Garry I knew this was going to be a good one!

The next big plus for this wedding was that Tammy from Divine Weddings was involved in the planning and décor. The whole day felt completely smooth and looked just gorgeous on camera. It was also a pleasure to work with Kamp Photography on this one too. I really like Jake's style both in terms of the finished product and his relaxed demeanour on the day.

I always get a kick out of seeing the bride and groom first thing in the morning. Sometimes they are nervous, sometimes excited and most just want the day to be over so they can get to enjoying the party. With April and Zach I just got an overwhelming sense of how much they DIG each other. They were just happy to be getting married! Love that.

For the camera geeks out there: I used 4 Canon 60D's, a gopro, multiple shotgun mics and Coollights for reception lighting... and I shot this wedding solo.

Without further ado, here is the main feature...
