Neil & Melissa - Manitoba Wedding Photography

It was a scorcher. No doubt about it. But I would gladly work in the +40 degree heat wearing a snowsuit if it means getting stunning photos like these again! Melissa and Neil (and the whole wedding party) were just fantastic all day long. So, I'm going to stop talking and let you take a look at a couple of my favourites...

Jasreen & Jasvir - NDE

Nobody parties like an East Indian wedding party. It's 5 days of festivities and by the end of the week people usually look a little haggard. Not Jasreen and Jasvir. At midnight on Sunday night they were out there ripping up the dance floor, huge smiles on their faces.

We shot both photo and video for this wedding so there is a lot of amazing imagery for you to enjoy today.

A big than you to the team for all your hard work this week. (Aaron, Lise, Maddy and Tamara... you guys rocked it!)

Here we go...

This is the Next day Edit which is a 10 minute edit of the weeks events leading up to (but not including) the reception...

These are some of my favourite photos from the week. Just a little taste of things to come...

Please click "like" and "share" below on Facebook so everyone who was there gets to see this amazing couple again!

Jasreen & Jasvir - Elegant Engagement Shoot

Plan A was to shoot a 1950's style train station with steam and suitcases. Booked for June: Rained out. Booked for July: Rained out. (Where is Summer this year?). The wedding is in August so we had to make a plan B. We decided to do a studio session instead to take rain out of play and WOW am I glad we did! The train would have been great, but having so much control over the lighting and props, and being able to do a costume change half way through... the results are exactly what we were hoping for.

Jasreen and Jasvir are also a smokin' hot couple and were super easygoing all afternoon. I had so much fun with you guys! Here are a couple of my favourites...

Cinematic Feature - Suzanne & Geoff

You've never met a nicer couple. Even on what can be the most stressful day of a lot of people's lives, they were welcoming, patient and an absolute pleasure to be around. The respect and love Suzanne and Geoff have for each other is infectious. You can't spend an hour with them and not walk away wanting to be a better partner to your significant other.

It's days like these that make me love this part of what I get to call my job. I hope I get to be there to shoot their 50th anniversary!

We shot both cinema and stills for this beautiful wedding. Enjoy the movie and images. We, and the couple would love you to comment and share the day. Links below!

And here are a couple of my favourite photos...

Cinematic Feature Film - Sarah & BJ

One of the best venues in Winnipeg is Terrace 55 in Assiniboine park. They have a beautiful ceremony location with a peaceful fountain in the middle and the restaurant has a massive glass alcove that lets in the most amazing natural light. Definitely one of my top 5 spots to shoot a wedding.

It was a breezy day. Both in the climatological sense and in the general atmosphere. Going over all this footage in the edit suite I was overwhelmed with a sense of peacefulness and calm that comes from Sarah and BJ's easygoing nature. They are perfect for each other. Definitely the highlight of the day, for me at least, was BJ's Dad's speech. I spluttered my coffee over the keyboard a couple of times laughing at that one!

Anyway... here is the movie and below that are some still frames of my favourite moments...
