Janice & Christian - Winnipeg Wedding

The great thing about having one company do both photo and video coverage for your wedding is that we can be sure we capture every single important moment of the day. Janice and Christian's day was full of laughter and tears and a whole bunch of fun.  The photos capture the grace and style. The video captures the laughter and emotion. Take a look for yourself...

And here are some of our favourite photos from that spectacular Autumn day...

So a big THANK YOU to Janice and Christian for trusting us to capture all those memories. We had a blast working with you and we wish you guys a long and fun filled life together!

Jasreen and Jasvir - Wedding Photos and Video

Some people just exude a feeling of effortless grace and charm. Jasreen and Jasvir are both like that. You can't take a bad photo of either of them. Even after 5 days of partying... HARD... they still looked bright and breezy at the reception and were a pleasure to be around all week.

We did both photo and video coverage for this fantastic couple. Here's their cinematic feature film and below are some of my personal faves in the photo department.

Melody & Jeffrey - Sneak Peek

This is what love looks like:

And how can you blame the man when his wife is as utterly lovely as melody...

Both Jeffrey and melody are the warmest, most welcoming people you could ever hope to meet. And, man, do they love each other! It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of this celebration. And it really was a celebration. If you weren't there, you missed out on the best groom's surprise performance at a wedding ever! Here is the grand finale...

All in all it was such a great day that it felt like 5 minutes. That's when you know you're in the zone! Here are a couple more favourites for you from the 3000 or so raw photos I will be editing later...

Congrats Melody and Jeffrey. You guys rocked it HARD!

Manpreet & Komal - Next Day Edit

It's no secret that East Indian weddings are my favourite. It's the colours, the different traditions and the scale of the receptions that provide so much opportunity for us to be creative film makers. It also helps when the couple is as wonderful as Manpreet and Komal were all week.

The NDE (Next day Edit) is just a little taste of all the events that take place during the week. For this edit, I found it really difficult to keep it short. At 9 minutes, it's still pretty long for this type of edit but I could have made it 15 minutes with all the fantastic footage that came in from all my different shooters. I only wish I could show you guys the footage we captured at the reception now too. (You're just going to have to wait for the the cinematic feature film!). Let me just say,  Events by Emma knocked it out of the park. It was, in a word, breathtaking.

So, without further ado:

Ashley & Hugh - Photo and Video Highlights

It was a scorching day. We had been walking around in the park for a couple of hours getting some pretty spectacular images and footage....

So what do you do when you've been in a heavy suit and dress tramping around the forest? You go grab a two four at the L.C. of course... in your dress!

Now that you're suitably refreshed, you go down to the river for more breezy photos.

And a little fun with the boys...

There will be time later for more emotions and a bit of romance when we get to the reception....

And, when it's all said and done, if you hire the right videography company, you will have a beautiful movie about the whole day too...

Congratulations Ashley and Hugh. It was truly a pleasure to be a part of your day. We had so much fun shooting you guys. My only complaint... I wish I could have been there for the trash the dress session too... that looked AWESOME! (readers: it was out of town and I was shooting another wedding. They went into the bush hunting in a wedding dress!!!)
